“The relationship with SJFS started after Big Shoulders Fund entered into a 10 year agreement with the Archdiocese of Chicago for us to have a strategic partnership and operations of 30 schools, roughly a $70 million investment from our end. It allows us to be more nimble and have a long term view of these schools instead of them being on the brink of closing each year.
St Joseph has been great to work with. The staff is very passionate and mission driven, which is a great connection with my role supporting Catholic schools. I am able to connect with them at any time when necessary, and they are always very quick to respond to questions and concerns. St Joseph is also very proactive and identifying potential areas of concern and bringing it to our attention.
St Joseph has come out to Chicago multiple times to help with onboarding and the transition of our team partnering with their organization. On top of weekly phone calls with their team, I am able to connect with them at any time when necessary very quick to respond to questions and concerns.
